A compressive headband is placed after surgery and must be worn 24/7 for the first two weeks. After the first two weeks post-surgery, the headband should worn while sleeping for an additional two weeks.
Approximately 3 days post-surgery, you will be seen by a provider in the office. The provider will remove your bandages and provide additional post-operative instructions.

In general, you may shower after your first post-operative appointment. DO NOT scrub the incision areas. You may let water run gently over it. Do not use hot water and pat the area dry once complete.
