Plan 1 week of no major events in case bruising occurs.
Taking blood thinners such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Fish Oil, Vitamins A, B, C or E or consuming alcoholic beverages may increase the risk of bruising. Consult your physician prior to stopping any prescribed medication.
If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend a course of antiviral medication pre and post treatment in order to prevent an outbreak of cold sores if you are prone to them.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
Avoid heat and strenuous activity for 24 hours post injection.
Do not lay down, lift or bend over for 4 hours post injection.
No face down massages or facials for 24 hours post injection.
Avoid wearing make-up for a minimum of 6 hours.
After neurotoxin injections it is normal to have small bumps at the injection site. Do not touch or massage the area.
Although some people react quicker to neurotoxins, the full effect of your treatment can take up to 2 weeks.
