Plan 1-2 weeks of no major events in case you bruise or swell.
Taking blood thinners such as Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, Fish Oil, Vitamins A, B, C or E or consuming alcoholic beverages may increase the risk of bruising. Consult your physician prior to stopping any prescribed medication.
You may use topical anesthetic in the office prior to your scheduled appointment (please arrive 30 minutes prior to procedure).
If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend a course of antiviral medication pre and post treatment in order to prevent an outbreak of cold sores if you are prone to them.
