The Sciton Laser provides treatments that range from light corrections to major resurfacing. We are also able to combine laser treatments for even better results. Combinations include MicroLaserPeel and Profractional Therapy, or BBL and MicroLaserPeel, or all three. MicroLaserPeel Resurfacing for Healthy Skin
MicroLaserPeel is a tunable laser resurfacing procedure to remove the top layer of dull, dry, and unhealthy skin to reveal a new healthy layer. Tunable means that the provider can change the depth of the peel for specific results or downtime. A lighter peel will have less downtime, but keep in mind that the deeper the peel the greater the results.
Profractional Resurfacing for Deep wrinkles, Acne and Pigmentation
ProFractional Therapy is an ablative fractionated laser treatment designed to improve overall texture by stimulating your body’s own healing response. We treat deeper levels however by only treating a portion of the skin surface. We can treat acne scars, severe pigmentation, lines and wrinkles with a single treatment, or in a series for best results. For pigmentation treatments your skin will need a specific prep product to maximize the results and reduce risks.
Skin Firming with SkinTyte
SkinTyte is a non-ablative laser and utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat soft tissue while protecting the entire treated area with a sapphire cooling wand. Targeted heating causes soft tissue reformation and collagen contraction. This process initiates the body’s natural healing process, resulting in a firmer, more youthful skin appearance. We are able to treat areas with sagging excess skin such as the neck, jowls and abdomen. The full effect of skin firming treatments can be seen over several months. We recommend a minimum of 3-6 treatments, with the first few taking place once a week to start. There is no downtime with this procedure and no aftercare.
BBL for Pigmentation, Acne, or Hair Reduction
BroadBand Light is similar to IPL in that it treats pigmentation, acne, small vascularities, and uneven skin tone. Again, a series of treatments will maximize results and protection from further skin damage is important through use of proper sunscreen.
